PSP AUDIOWARE PSPProblem solved.īut unit I can afford all the classic analog gear I want, i'm using PSP stuff because it's generally very good. Now I’ll admit up front that I like and use PSP software. PSP AUDIOWARE SOFTWAREThis was something that interested me It is essentially a software rack of a preamp and a combination of software emulations of outboard gear. After spending a lot of time & money on software verb, and convolution and expensive impulses, i've given up and bought a Bricasti M7. Maybe it was psychological, but I could swear I heard it. So while the Easyverb seems like it offers similar sound quality to some of the buget hardware verbs, you will notice some nasty phasey artifacts when mono'd. but no matter how old or young you are, mono compatiblily is still vitally import and will bite yor on the arse if you ignore it. Maybe it's an older generation vs younger generation thing. For some reason the hardware manufacturers don't fall into this trap (usually) but the software guys don't seem to understand. However - a weakness of most software verbs, and Easyverb is no exception - is that they sound crap when mono'd. Word of warning about Easyverb: when I was trying to find a decent software reverb, I kept returning to this one because it has a bit of character, and seemed to be fairly good at small rooms, which seems to elude most software verbs.
